You would consider BHP to be very particular with whom they invest their money. I read tonight of a late lodgement from BHP with regards to becoming a substantial shareholder in Gravity Diamonds. They already owned 11.4 million shares but subscribed for a further 2.8 million as part of the non-reounceable rights issue back in December. Whilst this is anything new BHP paid .42 cents per share, .13 cents less than they can be picked up for today.
Needless to say, l reckon they're a fair punt at these levels.
