I would have thought that Qantas should qualify as a blue chip stock? And that was the example I used in my original post.
A 6.1% share price drop on the release of superb results should be considered VERY dodgy!
It also happens with the banks.
As Nursery said - it's right across the ASX just as it is on the NYSE, the FTSE, and everywhere else.
