The most telling chart relatonship right now is the (very possible) further divergence between the S&P and the HUI. I think if you take a closer look at those respective weekly charts you'll understand why next week is of so much importance for both gold and the S & P. Any more divergence between two and most TA analysts wont be able to ignore considering gold.

So many reverse head and shoulders patterns on gold stocks now.
