I've always been cautious with Bell Potter's recommendations (and fortunately ignored some of their lulus!). But to their credit, I did agree with their recommendation on CGF back when the stock was trading below $4 (June 2013). Although I sold out above $7.50 a year later (because the stock zoomed up far beyond reasonable valuation), I bought shares again over the past half year in the low and mid $6 range.
I'm not convinced CGF will come anywhere close to Bell's 12 month target of $9, but then I would never have guessed it would double from June13 to Aug14, either. CGF could have some positive catalysts in FY16 (such as the new DLAs). Still, I think CGF is a great long-term investment and buying the dips will provide very nice returns.
