    Yes Sellin, we don't have to fear being ripped apart by the nfl.

    Firstly, there is that misperception about money. Running backs are generally not highly paid so the NFL are not going to take a massive risk on recruiting a NRL player and give him running back dollars of $3 mil /year. Hayne will get just over $500k which is rookie money and rightly so.

    As I said earlier, Russell Wilson was on $500k when he won the Super Bowl as QUARTERBACK. Ok, he now get ls $21 mil but that's after 3 seasons and his plays the number 1 position and is ELITE.

    The NFL may come poaching but what are they willing to pay/risk on an untried and what is the player willing to take.

    Jarryd hayne was prob bored and had that fire for a new challenge. Are other players going to forgo $800-$1 mil a year to get the at most the same over there? It depends on ur motives.
