Hi Guys,
I'm out, as previously advised due to expensive house purchase.
I topped out at 2.8 million options with a fair bit of buying and selling allong the way. Considering I was into options around the 1 cent mark, I am embarassed to say that my overall return was just 151%.
Fortunately My total investment was pretty substantial (for me at least) and the 151% equated to $198k profit (or there abouts. Must appologize to all HC followers as I previously overstated my gains at 1/4 of a million.
I think I would have been closer to that $1/4 mil if I had dumped all my options around the 10 - 10.5 cent mark in December.
Anyway, my ill-informed opinion is that this stock is moribund for a significant while - maybe six months. My thinking is that the company is not PR-ing at the top of its game, many people are holding massive gains past the 12 months CGT cut of and will not mind taking a small pullback on a moribund share to invest profits elsewhere, and there is no reason to expect a massive run. The best HC forecasts of late have been 20 cents which would be welcome, but represent a fairly low return for the gambler types who follow Hot Copper.
My instinct is that this is a quality company that may one day climb up to Blue Chip status. Have & hold five years and you will not be sorry.
If my other plays elsewhere come in (GDN & GUN in particular) I may be inclined to bottom drawer $20k in Tox.
The very best of luck to all who currently hold and sympathies to recent buyers.
Regards,
Wombat.
