Hi charterboat, sorry for the delay in responding.

I like investing in early stage tech companies that have huge potential upside. This has minimal downside imo.

NRR fits the bill. Tech and health.
Alcidion is successfully establishing itself in Australia with 11 hospitals that are now paperless. Looks like they are picking up 2 hospitals in NZ and are about to have a crack at the USA market where it has been legislated through Obamacare that every hospital has to have begun digitalisation by the 1st of Jan next year and within 5 years every American will have their own digitalised records. Mobile health tech is currently a $6.9 bil market and is tipped to grow to $23 bil by 2017.

Alcidion are confident of having a $50 mil turnover quite quickly in Australia. On last years $5 mil turnover their loss was $184k but only after writing off all their R & D ! They haven't disclosed their margins but as a licensing system and a matter of scale it looks to be very profitable.

I like Nathan Buzza who is a very successful health tech entrepreneur who has put this deal together through his company Allure Capital. He is a proven winner and will be in this for the longer term until they are taken out ( I am sure that is the plan). Gavin Wates is also very successful and I am involved in one of his other backdoors which has been and looking very successful. I also like the look of Ashleigh Wilby the digital marketing manager !

Blue Sky Private Equity have put $2 mil in also and they are very smart operators.

The current issue of 138 mil shares (with the rest of the shares locked up and long term holders) with a large proportion in the know means that liquidity will start to get tight.

The massive upside is getting a foothold in the USA market where legislation makes it compulsory to go paperless and I am sure Buzza has a foothold there already and hence the big move there.

They have $7 mil cash and are basically cashflow positive in Australia already.

This is called blue sky investing.
