Drilling underway at Cascade and Ulanzi
• Strike length of the Ulanzi discovery increased to 2.5km
The first RC hole completed at Cascade contains visibly higher-grade graphite mineralisation than seen at Epanko.
The Ulanzi drill programme is of significant interest because of the spectacular grades recently reported and its size potential. Ulanzi mineralisation is located on a prominent 2km ridge which offers favourable geometry for simple mining at low strip ratios should a resource be delineated.
The Ulanzi graphite mineralised footprint is interpreted to be 2,500m x 200m, significantly larger than Cascade or Epanko north.
A decision was made to drill test several locations within the Ulanzi mineralised zone whilst drill rigs were available following the completion of Epanko north infill drilling. Six to eight holes are initially planned with drilling to continue upon confirming widths, grade and strike extension.
