    So apparently Lihir is not performing very well. I am not a geologist so would like some critique here. It appears that in recent times the royalty agreements have come up for renegotiations, traditional landowners have been a bit restless regarding their share from the operation, there is a lot written in PNG about how much is taken from Lihir and how little is paid to the community, and that there is a VAST ore stockpile amassing on the island. Does anyone think there is some gaming going on here ? If so, what are your thoughts?
