Hi BM
it reduces or eliminates huge duties on Australian goods exported to China
I believe that you miss the point
Australian goods exported to China, I must have been asleep because I was under the impression that the only goods that Australia exports these days are from various holes in the ground and an ever reducing amount of stuff from agriculture, where China is becoming the major agricultural producer anyway and they were never going to restrict or put tariff costs onto their own Australian based production
I admit that there are some small specialized companies in Australia which do export and will be very happy if that ability is made easier for them but this free Trade Deal is about imports not exports
The miners have been selling all that they can produce and until recently at very high prices so how will they be effected apart from some more profit to go overseas.
I have yet to see any proof or indication that the Chinese Free Trade Agreement is in any way going to improve the everyday Australians life
I have seen indications inc from Wikileaks where it will adversely effect our life style and costs of living
Give me one valid reason that this agreement is keep secret from the population
