castadiva, one can safely assume that overseas investors at a level which can move ANZ's sp are mostly instos. As such there is every possibility that they'd BUY more with the added bonus of a forex discount. The hunt for yield is world wide. Australia currently has a AAA rating, rule of law (Dyson, Melbourne ABF, offshore concentration camps aside), and unscathed GFC banks topped(ing) up on Basel Tier One levels.
I doubt they'd sell low, very retail; at worst they'd hold for the yield, but miss a possible buying opportunity; I'd say they're BUYing.
