I have been considering the similarities between both Affinity and G8.

G8 Education ...... Wellington Capital
Affinity Education ...... Wraith Capital

The belief, almost arrogance, that aggressive acquisition will make one better or bigger than the other, without improving delivery of service. Neither have evaluated the competition presented by rival centres close to their own acquisitions. Comparisons of fees charged and occupancy of competitors confirms that the corporates are not winning the confidence of families in some key areas.

Ignoring acquisitions, have either actually grown?

They offer long day care, some offer before and after school care. Some corporate centres don't have 0-2 rooms and management have made no effort to offer that, highly sought after service to their families. No in home care, no nanny service and no training college.

There is so much that Affinity and G8 could do to improve their service and public sentiment towards them.

It's concerning the lack of information being released by Affinity, regarding the takeover proposal from Anchorage.

Acquire acquisitions, set and forget, it doesn't work!
