Individuals buy shares for the purpose of capital gain and,a hope of a dividend if they are prepared to hold for a long time.
Same applies for institutions, super funds managers who buy shares in bigger volume than retailers usually do.
Study the trade history since (at least) the announcement "restructuring of debts" .Do you see promises?

Lynas is a producer with heavy load of debts on shoulder.
Should one treat LYC as a spec share explorer with the hope that debt issues would be resolved in the future and,on top of this make a gain to divide among the increasing /massive number the shareholders ?

What strategy do you suggest for a newcomer .Time frame(years or decades) and realistic expectation from the investment ?.
What makes LYC a better choice than other shares on the ASX ?

I have no debate if one buys LYC as a trading share . Buy and sell with hope that the Big Boys with programmed sophisticated computers are not watching every move that retailers make.

I like to hear about winners who beat these sharks that surround the shareholders.
Sorry , i don t believe in "dog eat dog ",and nothing wrong with misleading others to make a dollar.

    The sp speaks volumes.
