    Why would they sell anything?
    Don't forget the PNG govt gets royalties not just from OSH but from Exxon Mobil, Interoil et al who are producing.
    It's not about owning the shares for them it's about the revenue royalties which are huge.

    Think about it, you want to operate in my country, here's what it'll cost you. These guys get paid regardless of who's doing the operating and collect their royalties.

    I think the key you'll find is that Botten has a very good relationship with the PNG govt and has managed to operate in a tricky environment and has been a key factor in oilsearch's success.
