reply from jill thomas I just received this response from Jill.

I suppose that most of my questions, especially regarding the standard of the geos and the short selling were not likely to be responded to.

I will continue corresponding with Jill in an effort to find out more and encourage Simon to issue something like a Corporate Overview.

    The response follows:

Thanks for your comments and feedback.

Re: Chinguetti, check our web site http://www.hdr.com.au/media.asp and you will see we just issued an update on Chinguetti production and the remediation plan.

Re: AFR article, I did not think it scathing. It painted a picture of the issues as they stand but also made comment that “the future may not be as bleak as some investors think.” The article also reaffirms Simon’s comments that there has been no impact on total reserves. Indeed the comments from Andrew Blakely with Macquarie Bank were also quite positive, and I think demonstrates that we still have the confidence of some very significant investors & brokers in the country. So overall, I take more good than bad from it, despite the headline.

Re: Uganda, again see our website where we continue to give regular updates on our operations there. Yesterday’s release confirmed that the upper reservoir sands intersected at Mputa-1 and Waraga-1 are laterally extensive, said that the pressure data indicates the Mputa field has hydrocarbons, the oil samples from the lower reservoir zone in Mputa-2 could be correlated to similar oil-bearing zones in the other two wells… and next in the plan is the testing program with flow testing of Waraga-1 in mid-June to establish reserves estimates, commerciality and potential development plans. What about that lacks substance? I think it’s easy to see why Simon would be encouraged by this and imagine our shareholders should share his sentiment.

I’ve only been in the position less than 2 weeks but completely agree with you – and imagine it falls into my new role - to ensure the company is effectively communicating with shareholders and providing true and precise information with consideration to ASX and AIM listing rules and continuous disclosure requirements. I’ll certainly do my best in this regard.

Thank you for interest and support in Hardman Resources Limited.

    Regards, Jill Thomas
