Hi jimgorr, I've read most of the VSA books. I found Tom Williams books the easiest plain English read regarding VSA; Master The Markets & The Undeclared Secrets that Drive the Stockmarket.

Whyckoff - The Daytraders Bible also has valuable information. Remember that Whyckoff spent his time observing the great price/volume readers like Livingstone and others.

Galvin Holmes book is ok but a rehash of Williams. Weis book is simply to hard to read, outdated and doesn't flow IMO. A good place to download all these books and many others is scribe.com where you can sign up for a temporary day membership and download as many books as you like for under $10 total. I download them then take to Officeworks and get them bound, then study them. One hour per night reading will enhance you trading after a few months. I still reread Williams a lot. keeps it in the head.

Remember, VSA works best in stocks with lots of volume rather than specs like IBG where volume is low. For low volume stocks, VSA works better on weekly or monthly charts. The more you use it the more you get a "feel" for it. Good luck.
