Folks,
the below a copy of my response to a question on share scen e, hence the odd context.
"Kwinana upgrade is complete - the site looks fantastic. I believe that they are going to post some photos shortly on the website. The upgrades related to re-organising the layout of the site, putting in more bunded areas, concreting and asphalting the site. In all no direct plant installed but the site must now work at least 20-30% more efficiently.
TDU still hasn't won a large contract but I believe that detailed tenders and consultants reports are being compiled on a couple of major jobs. This is the result of 6 month's work on understanding the contamination market. If and when they get a major job it will be a significant precedent for the remediation of soils in Australia. Currently there's no accepted practice for certain types of jobs and I've spoken to at least 4 companies that claim to be able to do TDU work, but appear only to have direct fired kilns, as opposed to proper thermal desorption processes. The difference is getting $2000/t rather than $100/t for the jobs.
Acquisitions: nothing is being stated by the company but I very much smell something's going on. I've been seeking appointments with the company but they are refusing to commit to a date, and have postponed the window of opportunity for a meeting date out another couple of weeks. I suspect that they're only going to be ready to talk once they've done something, hence why I feel that they're perhaps closing on a deal or two now. Certainly everyone's very optimistic and excited at the company."
