You need to sell it to the "money" if you want it to translate to investment & create / maintain interest. If you just leave a print in press ie. Newspaper / Magazine / Journal / and that alone then you may get some people that read it but the amount of those that translate that to investment, are usually not aware that it's a public company or even have any interest in investment of any kind is minimal. You need to capitalise on the press & release it NPS through the ASX at least then it filters through financial feeds & hits the most relevant audience. You want the money to flow in you need to sell it to the money.
