I think an asset purchase will be on the cards over the next 12 months mjrmambo. NHC were one of the players looking recently at Rios coal assets for example (I assume they couldn't agree on a deal though). I like that they are being patient and disciplined with their cash. I think they will end up buying an asset/s close to cyclical lows and make some great returns over the next 10 years out of it. I just wish I'd waited that bit longer to buy in, I got in around 2.20. Considering topping up though. Another possibility is Peabody's assets must be getting close to coming up for sale at distressed prices. There will be some good opportunities over the next 12 months, they just need to wait for the right one.
