So the vote in favour of the distribution was 18,127,067, v 26,738,746 against. Directors Lau (15,209,609) and Gan (2,907,506) held between them 18,117,115 as at the date of the 7 July 2015 FGG prospectus. If they retained those shareholdings and voted them in favour as recommended by the directors in the notice of meeting, that leaves only 9952 other votes in favour. Only 44m or so total vote out of 133m or so shares on issue. Good work by the 26 million.

Good news for the options, but so much damage has been done that it will need a good cleanup and some solid good news from FFG's investments (including iCandy) to boost the share price over the next 9 months. Chances of the options being in the money in a sustained sort of way before they expire in July next year don't look good, but at least it is now possible. Oppie holders have been unscrewed, at least for now.

Would love to know how the iCandy IPO fared. All we have is a report that Patersons said it was going OK. But Patersons is not disinterested in iCandy: "Robert Kolodziej, Non-Executive Director: Robert is an adviser at Patersons Securities ...". So he would say something like that, and we know very little. I don't get how a float can be 'extended' on 16 Sept after it closed on 11 Sept, but that's just one more fishy thing about FFG.
