Is it the case that asx needs to verify the potential bidder on the basis that it is a genuine offer?
One could create any offer from an "anonymous party" to propel their share price upwards with a rocket, and then profit from the rise?
Maybe these profits are not reported on director share activities but from other affiliates... not stating it's the case here but I understand there should be safeguards
