"We cannot bomb the nutjobs or dictators because the do-gooders have stifled us."

?? It's the do-gooders who want to do the bombing! It's the idiot do-gooders who have no concept of what happens historically when you take away a strong leader (even if they are bad) who are determined to let countries collapse into anarchy, and worse, just so they can feel good about getting rid of one nasty person. A million dead is nothing to them - so long as a dictator is removed.

And to make matters worse, rather than let the country sort out the vacuum after the bad guy has been removed, they hang around to try to impose the sort of govt. that they think the people ought to have. So they lose more troops, they continue to antagonise the locals and the hatred against them intensifies.

The other reason the do-gooders shouldn't be bombing the nutjobs or dictators is because it is against international law. Why are people surprised when arabs bomb and kill westerners after they've suffered so much from western hands?

Invading Afghanistan was always, from historical precedent, doomed to failure. All it did was to make everything worse. The west doubled down with Iraq, and tripled down with Syria. Stumbling from one disaster to another. Making more enemies every week.
