Linkedin is one of one, the leader anyway, with very unique data attributes. ZipT is one of many and very late to the party.
But fair enough Acca, I agree that there is value in the userbase over and above profit. I don't underestimate that - my reply to Jack was more about what is a pleasing P/E.
However I suggest that following trends in revenue may be a better indicator of the quality of the userbase, and hence the value of it, than raw download numbers. The reasons being pretty obvious, IMO. No doubt punters like yourself will continue to prioritise downloads, and obviously the directors themselves seem to think raw download numbers are an appropriate measure of performance.
My disagreement is neither here nor there to share price, and who knows how long I'll have to wait until proven right. If I knew timing on that, I'd short it
