That is a myth. Unfortunately, Abbott believed in it and because of that he gave Credlin so much authority, even sitting in on cabinet meetings according to some press reports.
According to press reports, she as PMO Chief of Staff and as an unelected person has so much authority over elected representatives.
And, the sight of her sitting in the House of representatives giving advice to Tony Abbott !!
This is all very unhealthy for our parliamentary democracy.
I am very pleased this is all over, and I hope it will never happen again.
