Unless he has changed his stripes he is not a great reformer. He just thinks differently. Whether or not that turns out to be in the countries best interest is as you say something that will be measured in time. One thing is for sure he has a high opinion of himself. A public backlash on policy may have him flipping and flopping to keep everyone thinking as much of him as he thinks of himself. Time will tell
