W27 all good valid points. This trial would have been ' unblinded' now for 2-3 months.
The number of successful quitters should not be difficult to count. My gut feeling is the smoking cessation results may not be what they we looking for ( why else offer so many options at .014 cents for interim funding).
I do believe all the data though will be quite compelling for nadolol as an effective treatment of the airways in patients with COPD. Interested in any thoughts ( I hope I am wrong on the smoking cessation).
