I don't like IMD because much of their equipment is electronic. Electronics can fail on the shelf when not used and has a higher depreciation rate, unlike mechanical equipment which can last decades in mothballs. Increasingly, time impinges their asset position by obsolescence and failure. Investing in IMD assumes a speedy return to good times in mining.
