Wrong. Yes they would keep producing. It's the administrators job to make as much money as they can for the creditors. They would be liable if they didn't.
The first part of what you said is more correct. It is a possibility, no question.
But if it were, the board could well be now in trouble for ANNs to the contrary as TB & others point out there are discrepancies and holes through this.
The issue is the NP and stock levels (heading up again)
The main problem is all commodities are traded in USD. Which IMO, is why we're seeing this in all commodities.
Yes it's cheaper to mine and export in BRL. But that's half the equation. It's paid for in USD so when China gets it, it needs more because they're devaluing their currency too (RMB)
I believe BRICS end goal is to get rid of this situation and they trade in their own currencies.
While USD remains the default currency for trade I think we'll continue to see this happen in world trade & commoditie prices.
I believe we'll see this change in our lifetime.
