    Hey Biggle’s and all,

I think I’m winning the predictions contest for the moment: Martin will not resign and I gave him 48 hours to get the chop!!!

“Martin Winterkorn steps down despite denying wrongdoing, as legal claims and further senior departures loom”

Is there any truth in the rumour that you traded your old car: The Leyland P76 for your dodgy VW ?
Wasn’t that the car you could play table tennis on!

Instead of spending time in here why not find a new outlet maybe see if there is a VW Losers club!

You still tell us things are going gangbusters in the USA and NZ sad to say I can’t report the same as it looks like the local steel works are closing down as I don’t think a government hand out will be forthcoming. In the past Saraji mine in Queensland had the coal supply contract. Funny people around here refer to British steel still the owners club these days includes Thai-owned SSI Indian Tata corp. and Anglo-Dutch Corus.

“Britain’s steelmakers are urging the government to rescue the industry from a “perfect storm” that has pushed one of the UK’s largest steelworks to the edge of closure. UK Steel,”

Guy on UK TV was telling us that the VW cheating saved money on platinum and other precious metals for their catalytic converters. Apparently the fix will be a boom for platinum and other metals in the future.

Just for those interested in getting the precious metal out of these converters, sorry its bit naff but you will get the idea.

I’m not sure but if you open this link and scroll down I think that might be Biggle’s watching the markets on his two screens in his office!!! I think humour is allowed on the weekend.
