I doubt that a bid for two offshore oilers with FAR being years off production would be attractive to WPL or the analysts. But WPL's recent CEO Don Volte who has been at Seven Group and is now consulting to them and he might have some opinions on an interest in FAR. He's experienced with offshore Africa after the Mauritania adventure but maybe his enthusiasm was tempered by that experience.

Seven Group bought 14% of Beach last year so a similar deal could be a possibility given Reg Nelson's involvement with both companies. I'd expect something like this post-appraisal though.
