Surf,
In my view that statement is more of a sales technique / bluff used to try and spur a prospective buyer into buying for fear of missing out and one which is often employed in the real estate business. Without those prospective partners / buyers being qualified no one outside the company really knows the validity of the statement. All my opinion of course.
This saga has been like death by a thousand cuts and hopefully for all concerned this will be resolved either way on the 2nd October and everyone can move forward.
