I have been trying to build a position in ORG for the long term over the last 6 weeks as I thought there was an opportunity for the company to turn around its poor showing of late and the dividends were attractive. Lucky for me I only have a small holding so far but with this offer there will still be some unavoidable pain.
The documents say that the institutional entitlement will not trade on the ASX but the retail offer will.
What does this mean. ?
If a retail investor renounces the offer, what happens, do origin pay the retail out.
Can someone please confirm what opportunities there are for Retail investors with this renounceable offer.
Also when is the x-date of this offer for retail investors. They surely have to make this x-date today or during the trading halt period as it would not be fair to existing shareholders.
