Don't do as I do

So I'm a good one to learn from. Did well over last 5 years (who didn't?!)

Would even sell losses pretty easily. then bought STO at $15. And it fell... And fell... Then it would tip up a bit ... Then fall. I kept buying down. Suddenly it made up a large part of my portfolio. Whoops. Stayed stubborn. surely it couldn't keep falling? I mean- it's Santos?? Crossed fingers and toes.

Today I eventually sold half. Why now?? Because I can't afford to lose anymore. And I've seen these little 2 day bursts so many times before. If it goes down to $3.50 I may rebuy. If it goes up I'll cry (again) but Will it? Despite oil rig data. Poo creeping up. China data, I've lost faith and I've lost so much it will still take years to claw back anyway.

Lesson learnt. Cut losses earlier. Buy elsewhere. So today in a 2 day rise I sold off heaps of stock. No faith in banks anymore either. I feel a slow slump into 2016. But I'll probs be wrong - so don't do what I do if you want to turn a profit..
