Origin most likely was heavily shorted (and sold down by 9-10%) on the 29th Sept because of the analyst report re: Glencore's operations being unviable at current commodity prices & the shockwaves that this would cause because of their massive debt burden.
Most of the big commodity players were sold down heavily that day, especially those with very weak balance sheets like STO/ORG.
Management clearly flinched, may as well raise capital now whilst you still can....
People who short sold Origin with knowledge of cap raising should be jailed and banned from trading, page-27
