I hardly suspect that Platinum Equity forked out $630m plus taking on certain liabilities just for a nuts and bolts business.
Their previous acquisitions indicate an IT focus. Dosent TFS have a product called Intevia which has electronics and software built into each fastener? Did someone mention before that this is a high margin growth product?
Now thats what I call vision. They know the revolution is coming.
