"A strategic review in conjunction with special corporate advisors is now underway as Compumedics seeks to identify strategic partners and accelera the realization of key next generation growth platform opportunities, including sleep eHealth, DWL's newly patented auto-scan and Neuroscan imaging systems."
In area of eHealth, continued development on eHealthMedics service platform, linking devices with cloud network. Its sale up to date is $13M, but they mention still trying to idenitfy high-calibre alliances.
At the moment, sleep eHealth, DWL's newly patented auto-scan and Neuroscan imaging systems are main three growth driver in the near future.
My thought:
1. eHealth has largest potential in short term
2. Neuroscan is good cash cow with established business unit, possibly forming certain degree of synergy with sleep diagnostic
3. DWL new patent would take a long time to turn into real application/device.
Parallel development on three different sectors of products is hectic, impossible for company size like compumedics. Even with strategic partnership, Compumedics would probably license its DWL technology to partners and earn loyalty. For now, their cash flow is still healthy. Not sure how much more required to develop/market eHealth service. Somehow, they pursue partnership, instead of spin-off.
