Even in his last few days as PM Abbott managed to soil Mirabella's re-election chances with that dreadfully ill-conceived promotion of her candidacy as part of the 'Spirit of ANZACS' exhibition launch. He even REFUSED to meet with local people after Sophie Mirabella publicly announced that he would do so - she looked like a former party hack who had NO influence and whose promises were self-serving and oh-so-hollow.

IMO Indi will therefore become a two way contest between Cathy McGowan [Independent] and whoever is nominated by the National Party. If Turnbull proves the winner I expect him to become, the Nats may get up in Indi by a whisker IF they select the correct candidate for what is NO longer a moribund electorate!

Lapdog , i really don't know why you pretend she is independant when the rest of Australia knows she is a greenie.

It seem's she also accept's tainted vote from her family members who don't even live in the electorate.
