One would think the issue most easily and soonest able to be addressed would be that of unfair /inequitable selling at their various outlets.
How lax are sales staff in enforcing limitations where raiders "shelf wipe" is the question.
Maybe the company needs to communicate with their domestic sales points that customers buying up large to supply friends & relatives back in Asia is counter-productive to not only BAL's business but also the seller's if in fact this leads to loss of hiterto genuine and loyal domestic clients!
It won't always be easy to enforce a limit, but at least make sure all staff at selling points are vigilant.
Mmmm, maybe a letter to BAL head office? At least we might then find out if they are aware of this practice and what measures they may be implementing around it.
The AGM is in Launceston on Tues 20th October; as I note several posters about this issue are in Hobart, and should be encouraged to raise this if they are going to attend?
