You almost sound like another poster who posted this on the 28th August:
I see this as a dead cat bounce - we might see another day to the upside at most on the ASX then selling will resume. How much FAR sells off depends on how many institutions or people get called on margin and the resilience of FAR holders.
The ASX recently tracks with the S&P - banks and sentiment are position to be headed down after this corrective bounce. (S&P to turn around 2000 and resume selling).
Oh, wait a bit... it was actually you!!...
