That night I kept my eyes glued to him to see how he will perform on one leg & how far he will travel before breaking down. His best play came with the broncs first try. Massive fast winger was running away with no chance for any speedster to catch & there was one who challenged him & that was him in case of a fumble. None of the other cowboys came half way the length.
Again at a critical juncture, he put his weak body to the cleaners against Gillett to save a try. And when all is gone, with wobbly knees he swept aside Blair, Sam & co to generate that winning try. I have seen many finals & many greats play but will never forget those moments of JT.
