The Prime Minister of Denmark is quoted as saying that in February, a new law will ensure that uranium from Greenland will not benefit illegal weaponry and terrorist organizations. Although Greenland is sovereign in the production and export of natural resources, Denmark is responsible for security and foreign policy, related to Greenland.
