I suspect I am going to get howled down here, but I don't think Grant King has been getting huge pay rises (definitely not over the last year or 2). The bonuses are a bit of a double edge sword. A lot of the bonus is in options with exercise prices significantly higher than the price is now (If I remember correctly, some are $15).
I am a long term investor. If I am happy with 15%pa growth + dividend, it will take 7yrs to get back to $15 (and I think those options will have expired).
As far as I know, Origin's bonus scheme seems to the slanted towards options/shares rather than cash. I am not happy with the outcome, but as I've said before, Grant King has lost about $10m in capital, expired options and foregone bonus. That is a lot of money in anyone's language.
Does anyone else know how STO or WPL or OSH pay is structured.
