What is it with these pressure cooker directions?
Here are a couple of examples:
6. Wash the control valve pivot with water or with barbwire.
BARBWIRE????
Here is another:
Turn the locking lever on, in the opposite sense of the indicated by the arrow, and remove the lid.
Yes, "in the opposite sense of the indicated......"
What the hell is "the opposite sense of the indicated" by the arrow?
I wonder how to understand these directions when evidently the translation into English is a bit weird, esp. when I want those directions!!!! grrrr
