someone buys the heads to push up price deliberately sucking up the price of the options with it

then dumps the heads suddenly back into the market to deliberately cause a correction and the oppies fall towards the strike price

panic
oppies overreact and fall back to 5 or 6 cents because they are now out of the money

The "someone" gobbles up the oppies
share price recovers as the project continue as planned
