i have reviewed a newsagency purchase and now sale in the last 18 months. a) you a purchasing yourself a LONG morning or day job b) if you get a newspaper deilver run ... becareful who does it ... they often only want cash in hand ... (uni students) who don't want to declare inc etc.... c) previous comments about people coming in to your domain ... woolies & coles etc d) what is your exit plan ... always go into a business with at least 1 exit strategy
the banks will lend on it. They do not like goodwill ... you will have to fund that, but you probably will get first offer of 50% on the rest (including working capital)
try to get a vendor financing offer ... if the vendor believes his good will is worth as much as it is ... let him / her put their money where their mouth is !!
