I asked Joe Lowry on twitter in August about Orocobre. Here was his response

#ElNino is not Orocobre's problem. Meeting nameplate capacity? You have a sense of humor. They are still in "start-up"

It seems he was right.

This is also a cautionary tale for all the newcomers to the Lithium business, especially those using new technology (POSCO's rapid brine processing, Western Lithium's Hectorite Clay).

Sadly it seems that they don't know what they are doing, however I'm still holding. How can you not when Lithium prices and increasing and demand is about to skyrocket?
