Ha anyone been offered SMSF Audit Protection Insurance from their accountants etc? For an annual premium the cost of an audit by the ATO will be covered. Apparantly ATO audits are becoming more frequent and commonplace. The cost of preparing your books for the ATO is considerable, even if you have been compliant.
