2015 Annual Meeting and Director Nominations
Contact Energy Limited advises that its Annual Meeting will be held at the
InterContinental Wellington, New Zealand on Wednesday, 9 December 2015. The
time and other details relating to the meeting will be advised in the Notice
of Meeting to be sent to all shareholders.
The closing date for director nominations is Monday, 9 November 2015. All
nominations must be received by 5.00pm on the closing date.
Nominations must be made by a shareholder entitled to attend and vote at the
meeting, and should be accompanied by the consent in writing of the person
nominated and contain sufficient information to enable shareholders to make
an informed decision as to whether or not to elect the candidate, including:
- Biographical details, qualifications, experience and the skills the
candidate will bring to the Board; and
- Details of other material directorships held.
