I believe in a flat tax rate, I cannot see why I should pay a higher % tax than an individual who earns less.
Even if we are all taxed 30% I will still pay many times more tax in $ than low income earners? Why does the tax rate increase, the more you earn? To penalize those who work harder and smarter?
I reckon 20% GST and 20% income tax across the board. That way the Mussies who drive trucks for cash and are on disability pension would at least pay something. Even the dole bludgers would contribute.
