Previous Drilling at Wigetty Prospect

Hi, as a previous employee of Normandy Exploration in Adelaide I thought you should be made aware of previous drilling that Normandy carried out over the Wigetty calcrete gold anomaly in 1997-1998. Approximately 110 vertical and angled RAB holes were drilled on 10 drill sections covering the main calcrete anomaly which Normandy had defined with detailed calcrete sampling (100m x 100m). RAB holes were spaced at 100m centres on east-west sections spaced 200m apart. There was some RC followup of weak bedrock gold responses but max gold result I could find was 0.2 ppm Au (200ppb).
All this data and the Normandy annual technical report is available on open file via the SARIG website. Plan of drillholes and cross sections are attached (pdfs) along with screen shots from SARIG showing location of calcrete and calcrete plus drill holes. Holes of interest are the MKRB series holes in the bottom RHS of the collar plan (pdf) within the Wigetty Area.

This is not to say of course that Wigetty is a "duster" as maybe the holes were too widely spaced or maybe the holes didn't go deep enough but the results were not that encouraging to make Normandy undertake any further work at the time.

One might ask the question why this previous drilling hasn't been disclosed?
